Welcome To The New UdefineU!

Dear Returning and New UdefineU Members:

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the New UdefineU, which has been in the re-making for over a year. When I first conceived of UdefineU several years back, I did it most of all because I wanted to make myself over and I didn’t quite know how. Fashion magazines and TV shows, while very entertaining and aspirational, didn’t really solve the problem of teaching me step-by-step all the elements I needed to learn to experience a profound physical, as well as self-confidence transformation. The pictures of young, skinny and beautiful women didn’t really reflect my reality or what I wanted to become. I wasn’t looking for perfection; I just wanted to be the best I could be.

I also realized that after many years of developing bad habits from the way I walked or carried myself in general, to the way I dressed, made myself up, expressed myself verbally and committed the occasional etiquette faux pas, I needed a lot more instruction than just a 10 minute segment in a TV show or a quick blurb in a magazine could provide (and I needed it across several categories of learning). There was no easy answer. I needed to find something that was easy to do, on my limited budget and on my limited time. That’s where UdefineU was born. I thought why not bring together the experts who work with movie stars and socialites and ask them to help out us regular gals; not quite past the expiration date, but we’ve been on the shelf for a while and never met a hamburger we didn’t like. UdefineU is for us! This isn’t about spending tons of money. This is about saving money and making the most of what you already have; inside you, inside your closet, inside your make-up drawer and most of all, inside your heart!

We want you to join our community and come together to share directly with us and each other your experiences, tips and advice, as well as mentor new members through this wonderful journey. Just imagine what we can accomplish together! The new UdefineU is for all of us; returning and new members to build our own profiles, get actively involved in group discussions, share our pictures with each other, e-mail friends through our personal and private e-mail accounts and overall, just stay connected. This is a wonderful new beginning. UdefineU will grow stronger with everyone’s participation. The UdefineU videos will serve as your starting point to learn the essential fundamentals. From there, you will build your own great creations, and share them with everyone else so we can learn from you. We want to hear your stories, your opinions and your feedback. We want to always give you the best, most valuable and pleasant experience possible. This will be your sanctuary because UdefineU is about U!

For those of you that are joining us for the first time, I know you will experience the same transformative power all of us program veterans have had for years. Most importantly, please become actively involved in our community! If ever there was time for needing friends to share similar interests and goals, this is it. That is why for returning members, I look forward to your active participation as the new leaders in this new phase of our development, which promises to be the best yet!

I send you all my best wishes for the great journey ahead of U!

There are a couple of bloggers that I think can help you out. Also, you should go to BlogHer in July in Chicago!
